Amazon.com, Inc. Seattle-based American is a multinational technology company focused on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming and artificial intelligence. It is considered one of the Big Four tech companies along with Google, Apple Pool and Facebook.

Amazon is known for technological breakthroughs and the breakdown of the industry it founded on a mass scale. It is the world’s largest online marketplace, AI support provider and cloud computing platform that is measured by revenue and market capitalization. Amazon was founded in July 1994 by Jeff Bezos in Bellevue, Washington. The company initially started as a book market nonlinear market but later expanded to selling electronics, software footwear, video games, apparel, furniture, food, toys, and jewelry. In 2015, Amazon surpassed Walmart as the most valuable retailer in the United States by market capitalization.

In 2017, Amazon acquired the Whole Foods Market for the US $ 13.4 billion, which greatly increased Amazon’s presence as a brick-and-mortar retailer. In 2018, Bezos announced that its two-day delivery service, Amazon Prime, has surpassed 100 million customers worldwide.

Amazon distributes downloads and streaming of videos, music, iDeBook through its Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music and Audible subsidiaries. Amazon also owns Publishing Arm, Amazon Publishing, a film and television studio, Amazon Studios, and Amazon Web Services, a cloud computing subsidiary. It manufactures consumer electronics, including Kindle e-readers, fire tablets, fire TVs and eco devices.
